COMMUNItY CHAMPIONs initiative

For 2025, Hackney Moves is inviting Community Organisations from across Hackney and surrounding Boroughs to become a Community Champion of the event.

By focusing on targeted outreach and removing barriers to access, we are taking steps towards Hackney Moves becoming more inclusive for underrepresented groups. Together, we will foster a sense of community pride, promote inclusivity, and build lasting partnerships with local organisations, enhancing the event experience for everyone involved.

Community organisations will have early bird access to the community 5K places as well as a dedicated community wave, logo promotion on the Community Champions page, access to the Community Champion logo, social media and PR support, inclusion in race day guides, and priority sign-up for the 2026 Hackney Half Marathon event at the community rate.
